The font size is customizable if you need to change it – and I loved having six lines of workout stats on-screen while you run.

The extra brightness and larger screen mean you can see more readings outside in the sun, and the flatter, raised display is easier to use than the curved display on the Series 8 or Series 7. If you opt for the larger Series 8 with built-in cellular and a stainless steel body, you’re looking at £829 – almost the same price as the Ultra. It’s another reason many people prefer the £419 Apple Watch Series 8. Apple only offers a single cellular model for £849. Perhaps the most important number of all is the price. There’s 32GB of onboard storage and the dimensions for this thing are 49 x 44 x 14.4mm. Brightness goes up to 2,000 nits and there’s an IP6X dust resistance rating, as well as a 100m water resistance rating.
